Anyone know if Ia. riverboat VP is "random" deal? I seem to do OK in
Vegas(7 trips last 2 years, but horrible in Ia. Quad Cities playing
same machines - same payouts(Mostly 9/6 DDB or JoB)
Also wondering about Vegas Fremont $.25 Treasure Chest machines. How
do you figure payout when machine is 8/5 JoB, but pays anything from
140 to 500 coin for 4/kind with $1199 possible. That by the way is my
goal, as yet unrealized. Several royals, but can't seem to get the
$1199 4/kind. Maybe this trip in March
???'s on Iowa boat VP & Vegas Fremont
The Iowa regulations are a combination of New Jersey's and Nevada's.
In a quick search I couldn't find anything specific but I've done a
lot of research on different jurisdictions and have found none
(outside of Indian Gaming and racinos) that permit machines that
simulate hand-dealt games to operate differently than the hand-dealt
game. So it is virtually certain that VP in Iowa Riverboats dealt
randomly from a 52-card deck.

I've been trying to hit that treasure chest 1199 quad for years, still waiting. I figure the payout to be about the same as 8/5 bonus poker. No facts to back it up, but if you use an average pay off of 165 coins for the quad you get the same payback as 8/5 bonus, and that seems to be a fairly close to reality average.
