Ruminations on the Jumbo Jackpot

It was hit in the early morning hours, approximately 3 AM last Friday. Not
the busiest time for casinos. If a JJ were hit 18 hours later (9 PM Friday
night), there might be five times as many players. The "average" number would
fall somewhere in between.

One other thought: does 1,581 players seem low to anyone else? Spread
among nine properties, that's only 160 players per property. Of course,
if that number's off, so are my ruminations...!

Yeah I thought that number seemed low, thanks for clearing that up. By
the way, does anyone know where LVA got the information on # of players?
Is that something Station Casinos makes known in a press release or
something? It'd be interesting to learn the # of users playing when the
Jumbo hits at various times of day.
