RR food, was Re: RR has eliminated discretionary comps for slot ...

The JV generally does not matter - Station runs it and gets a fee for
doing so. THe only area where it matters is why GVR is excluded from
Station wide promotions often - so you can use your 4x points at any
property but GVR if you are coded to a 100% owned Station property.

To be fair, GVR is a joint venture between Station and the

Greenspun

group; or whatver they call themslves. I think the same group is
building Alliante Station. Maybe they think that because they
perceive an area to be "affluent", they can offer poor games to the
lemmings.

Surprise, surprise. It doesn't work that way. Guaranteed VP is a
flop; anyone want to dispute that? Machines go to ZERO revenue,

when

merely offering 99% to 100% games generates revenue.

I guess Lorenzo and Frank must believe in idiots that think 100% of
ZERO means something. Hey L and F; I will do that job for a mere
$100,000 a year and then pack the places with VP players. Even the
so-called "burn out artists" would not be able to stay away. Some
will win. Most will lose.

What does "coded to a 100% owned Station property" mean?

I play at multiple Station casinos. How do I know which property
I am "coded" to and what does that mean to me?

All of this talk is for the mailers that Stations sends out to
"locals". You are "coded" to the casino that you give the majority of
your Stations play to. If you're coded to GVR, you can only use your
multiple points days and free play at GVR. If you're "coded" to one of
the other Station Properties, then you can use your multiple points at
any of the solely owned properties,ie; Sunset, Boulder, Palace, Texas,
Santa Fe & Red Rock.

The idea of only having your offers coded to one property that you
frequent often is a bunch of crap. I had this problem a couple years
back when I started playing at a different station property quite
often. The host wouldnt let me receive any offers because I lived
down the street from GVR. Contradictory considering their jumbo, mini
jumbo, penny jumbo and dollar jumbo are connected to all the stations
properties.
