RP - Sat. play ok...

A simple play for a meal and a gift (check 1st - some gifts better than others!) can be earned for $600 coin in vp.
(All vp included!).

i did find sometimes playable BARTOPS in main casino at bottom of escalators: 8/6 JB with prog. on Royal.
Most that have a sign on them will also pay TRIPLE for quad '8s'.
In BERMUDA club, I think it was a base 9/5 JB game, no progressive.

The meal is for their Angus burger (1/2 lb) deal- if you're really hungry, order the steak fries ; it's like having an extra baked potatoe on the side! Otherwise you can choose coleslaw or cold potatoe salad. I haven't tried the 'Chicken' club yet; but on the menu it's listed at $7.50 avs. $6.50 for the Angus burger.

NOTE: You do have to pay for extra sides (Cheese, sauteed mushrooms, and/or onions) at .50c each - well worth it!
Drinks also extra.

Not quite as good as in the 'good old days' (remember when 75 pts got that deal, or $375 coin in)?? I think the drinks were even included!

Still, though, not too bad. Gifts can vary on Saturdays (random gift, no pts. deducted).

Last week I got a logo cooler/lunch bag.
This past weekend, it was a set of 4 glassware dish bowls in 3 different shapes (Round deep dish for desserts, leaf-shaped for candies, or simple round candy dishes).

For an 'out of towner' wanting a little play for a quick meal, this is not too bad of a play.

You may also choose to play 500 pts for a better dinner special at $3k thru vp machines, or 1000 pts for their 2 tail lobster dinner (normally $20). Not sure if 6k would justify that....

Some more info on the coffee shop deals -

The Angus burger (comes with lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onion) and the
grilled chicken sandwich comes up as $3.50 each on the bill. Even
though it is listed as $6.50 on the menu. Then you get it free with the
coupon from the kiosk when you have earned the points. No deduction
from your points or comp account. It is good only after 11:00am and
before 11:59pm. You no longer get 24 hours to use it.

They also have a $2.99 (reg $3.99) breakfast special: 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2
sausage, 2 toast, and hash browns. Drinks extra. Just show your player
card. It is only good till 11:00am. And you can use your comp account
for the balance.

Remember no "young-at-heart" discounts anymore. I don't think there is
any "young-at-heart" anything anymore.

The Italian restaurant is closed for renovation.

Free gifts for play is on Thursdays and Saturdays.
