We took a couple of these last year. In Chicago they now fly out of O'Hare
and Midway on MD 80 (3 seats one side and 2 seats on the other side) type
planes. Seats are preassigned. Checking luggage and getting your boarding
pass can be kind of a zoo because on the outbound flight you are using
another airlines facilities, but things get more efficient after that. The
planes tend to drop out of the sky near Wichita or some other small
metropolis airport to refuel, but if there are few enough passengers they
will do nonstop.
Checked baggage is handled by Harrah's and transported directly from the
cargo hatch to your room. This may take a little while, so don't check
anything you will need immediately. Busses pick up passengers and carry
them the short distance to Harrah's. When you get off the bus you can
quickly pick up a drink and packet containing your room key just outside of
the casino. Deposit carry ons and commence to gambling.

So how does it work for you over at the Ramada? Do they send mail?
You
comped upfront?
We receive a bi-monthly newsletter and tournament offers. We followed
our excellent Host, Leslie Lough, there when she left the EW.
Just booked a Harrah's charter to Laughlin, does anyone here have any
experience with these? Thinking about practical things like seat
assignments, boarding times etc.
