RP July Promos

Wife & I got our mailers from the RP today. Bounce back cash for first
and 2nd halves of the month and ditto on rooms. As is apparently the
case for June, the daily promos can be earned that day. Scratch off
cards are back for July (now called Fire Cracker Cash Scratch Off), 250
points gets you a card, max of 3 per day, win up to $1000.00. No
scratch offs for July 1 to 4 and none on Saturdays. Wednesday is a
Skee Ball roll for each 50 points -- five winners twice a day with
prizes up to $250.00. Please don't ask me what a Skee Ball roll is as
I have no clue.

Skee Ball !! I didn't know they had those around anymore. When I was a
kid, I was the Skee Ball wizard at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. I
think I earned enough tickets to get my first watch.

If you want to practice your Skee Ball, I found a couple of machines
in the arcade at Harrahs. The trouble is, the game was set up for
someone no more than 3 feet tall. My 6 foot frame did not bend to the
right direction, and it was a disaster- or I have lost my touch. I
never got a single ticket out of the machine.

Also, I found in the arcade at Harrahs a huge flip-it machine. I
could not figure out how they could have that in a childs arcade at
first. What happens is that you feed it with quarters, but instead of
the quarters returning to you, you get tickets instead. Man, those
real flip it games are getting hard to find! I remember them in all
the casinos in Laughlin at one time.

Sounds great. I love Skee Ball and had no idea they have it in the
arcade at harrah's. having no kids I have not had a reason to check
out the arcade. Now I must when I go back in 2 weeks.
