About 6AM this morning I went to play the FPDW at the River Palms. Two
of the IGT uprights were out of service as were several adjacent
machines. A third IGT FPDW had a non-working bill acceptor. A "suit"
told me they were moving these machines downstairs. Within an hour a
slot tech was changing screens in and out of the eight machines
adjacent to these four IGT FPDW (I was playing one so he left that one
alone). He informed that they were putting in new TITO machines. He
said it was hard to get parts for these old machines. Someone else
asked if the new machines would have the same games. Tech said pretty
much he thought. I don't know about the rest of you but "pretty much"
doesn't sound good to me. Slot gal said she had heard conflicting
reports (they were moving them downstairs -- they were replacing them
with new TITO models). What's worse is that four Game Kings with FPDW
will also be up for movement or replacement. All of this will
supposedly happen within a day. This don't look good. Followup
reports needed.
RP FPDW -- it don't look good
It looks like my timing was good. I played them on Tuesday, and had a
nice run on those deuces. I cashed in three coupons, and pulled out
some more money out of the FPDW. You don't suppose my play is what
caused it all? Those machines are getting in rough shape for sure.
The inventory is getting worse in this place.

Does anyone know if these machines made it downstairs with the same
games on them?

According to the Laughlin database they are now in Winners Wharf.
Wish that were true for the AA's.

Can we request RP to re-activate the AA machines? I really miss them
too!

I saw 3 FPDW against a wall in Winners Warf, the wall would have the
player facing south east. There were 4 25c machines that were shut
down in a bank that were shut down, and I assumed these were the
multi-games.
