RP confusing bday bonus offer

It states on their 'rules' booklet (always on slot counter on FAR left
side) for every monthly promo that 'invited' members with Bdays in
APRIL get a free swipe on the kiosks (one time) for a random freeplay
bonus from $5-100.

I happened to be there 4/5, and my bday's in April.
However, since my recent 'downgrade', I was told I didn't qualify.

However, I did get my friend's points for a day (as he was new member).

Now here's the CONFUSING part:
So I settle him in on the FPDWs, and I got to find a semi-playable
game to use the FreePlay on. (My stated April bonus was $7).

There are six new (to me) slanttops, just outside of the GKs, and
about 2 rows in from the outermost ones (with DB on end machine), near
Bermuda club entrance.

These slanttops have semi-playable 9/5 or 8/6 JB.
There may have even been NSUD for .25 levels.
For nickels I think it was 8/6.
I was PLEASANTLY surprised, however, to get $32 in Freeplay??
Huh--------what?? So somehow, I got an extra $25 in freeplay.

I don't recall this being part of the 'sign up a friend' bonus,
so I figure it must be my bday bonus.

Who knows, but since I'm returning in the 2nd half of April,
I will check again (at least I KNOW I qualify for the $7 as listed in
my April mailer).

Martin.

So, you got an extra $25 in free play? In today's mail came the Tax
Break offer. Two free nights in April and $25 in free play. Did you get
this offer in the mail? That would explain the extra free play. I guess
I will find out next week. I have a "normal" $20 in free play, and now
after your post I am expecting an extra $25. Oh, and while I am at it,
I will come back later in the week (15th) to earn another $20. $65 in
free play is pretty good for the small action I have given them.

Just got back, and the APRIL "You Deserve a TaxBreak" pcard was in the
mail, stating that $25 in freeplay was available in April,
explaining where that came from.

On another note, I had posted for CB/EW:
"3k is optimal (my friend's brochure/mailer stated 2000 pts avg. for
Gold Level VIP membership)....".
I meant on Bartop and the slanttop poker room Bonus Pokers,
(at $2 for 3 pts), only about $1350 daily action needed!
(under 1500, or 1200 hands of BP quarter poker).
That's 675 x 3 or 2025 pts daily! And with a semi-generous .333% cb,
and .1% comps too!

DOUBLE that ( or roughly $2700 in quarter vp) for some other machines,
incl. the slanttops by the Shooters Bar, and the over 100% games.

Martin.
