I just drew to a royal on the bottom line of a 10-play Jacks game (the
other 9 lines paid only 15 credits).
The "meaning" I ascribe to this occurrence relates only to the number
of hands I've played since the last royal, especially the losing
sessions in between. I'm always happy to see that royal, but I try to
honestly reflect what the 4000 cost me.
Not recognizing those "in between royals" times causes, I think, too
many people to underestimate the bankroll needed on certain games.
They see the royal and forget what it took to get there.
I've always thought that the biggest losers are, ironically, those who
win - but too early.
So, once again - bankroll, bankroll, bankroll.
