Royals of same suit consecutively?

My wife and I set a personal trip record today by getting our sixth
single line royal over a span of twelve days. I'm sure many of you have
records much higher for similar periods of time.

What I think is unusual though is all six were in the suit of clubs. So
I wonder, what is the highest number of royals of the same suit
consecutively others have experienced and what are the odds of getting
six of the same suit before getting one of another suit?

Thanks,
Don

This is a straight forward probabitlity problem. First of all the suit of the last royal does not matter. We assume that th eplay for all the royals is the same. Thatis, it isn;t a case where different royals pay different amounts, causing strategy variations for som e suits such as if it's at a certain level 3 to a royal is a better play than a high pair. To calculate the probabilities (from the start before you played at all) for 6 all in clubs you have the conditional probability of getting a royal then in clubs. Simplifying chance is (1/4) raised to the 6th power =1/4096 that given the fact that you get six royals, being all club royals are 1/4096 chance

So you can expect this to happen once for every 24,576 royals hit. Is
that right?
