Royal without max bet

<< Have you ever witnessed someone (or God forbid, yourself) hitting a
royal flush with fewer than max coins bet?

I was at the bar at the Orleans when they had 9/6 jacks in their progressive
and I heard a guy had hit it - but the meter didn't reset. I got up to take
a look and sure enough he had a royal - with 4 coins bet! I can see playing
one coin if you are killing time or sucking up the free drinks, but 4
instead of five? He probably never did that again!

Saw someone playing 4 coins on a 10 coin quarter progressive at $6000 hit
the RF. She got $250 dollars.

Saw someone playing 5 coins on the Frontier 6 coin progressive hit the RF.
He got $1000 instead of $4900.

Saw an employee of the casino hit a RF with 1 coin in when a quarter
progressive was at $2500. He came back later and continued to alternate
between 1 coin and max bet. I just hoped his boss didn't hear about how
intelligently he plays.

No one seemed all that upset.
