I'm several royal cycles behind. I track my coin-in and number of
royals during the year. Last night I was dealt my first ever Royal on
a Triple Play machine. I'm torn between counting it as one $3,000
royal or Three $1,000 royals. I am leaning towards three royals. Any
comments?

I'm no math savant but it would seem that if you counted triple play
as 3 dealt hands, then you should count this as 3 royals.

That should answer your question.

Treat them as 3 royals. They certainly average into what you consider
to be the royal cycle on the game you're playing in that manner.

Sounds logical to me! It is now logged as THREE royals, twelve for the
year and only six behind the middle of the bell shaped curve. I know I
can do it if I concentrate hard enough, LOL
Thanks
An interesting question!
My initial comment, after offering sincere congratulations, is that I
wish that we all have the same dilemma!
I would count this as THREE royals, since I assume that you are
counting the three hands, as three separate hands.

On a single-play machine, you would have counted one royal whether it
had been dealt or you got it on the draw.
On the triple-play machine, if you had been dealt four to a royal and
drew the fifth card all three times, you would have counted three
royals.
Therefore, you should count three for the dealt royal.
