I looked at my mailer and noticed that the 5X points applies only to slots and video reel machines.... no VP. I also did not see any multiple point days mentioned, only the bonus for a Royal Flush. As a further penalty to multi-line players it appears the bonus is only applicable to the first line.
A quick computation indicates that the bonus is worth about .1% if you play single line NSUD.

Your observations are entirely correct. All slot play is rewarded this month with the multiplier; VP play is only rewarded IF you get a RF and IF you are playing single-line or the 1st line of a multi-line game.
I got a RF on the 3rd line on Friday... and no reward. What moron in marketing thought that made sense?
