Royal at Vegas Circus Circus

Hello,

Just returned from a Vegas trip. Stayed at the Circus Circus because a minor was with us on the trip. Played .25 VP in the tower section that goes to the pool. In the morning a player hit a Royal three machines (I forget the name but it was a progressive and keyed on four 7,8s etc) to my left. Later in the evening about 10, I returned to the Casino and the same person was at the machine. He finally left so I decided to play it, not sure why, knowing it hit a Royal earlier. After, about 500 hands I hit a Royal. So this machine had two Royals in one day! Payoff of $1000 (actually I think $1030 due to the progressive) on $1.25 bet

By the way, previous two trips to Atlantic City I hit two Royals (1 each trip) on Triple Trouble Bonus Poker (Devil bonus round) at the Taj Mahal. Also paid $1,000 on $1.25 bets.

thanks,
Ed Orr

Congrat's!
It doesnt make a difference if the machine hit a royal that day, five minute's ago or not for a month. Each hand is random.
but its good you sat down to play and won.

Maybe I am misreading your post, but on triple trouble all hands in
the bonus round are paid triple. A royal on this game in the devil
bonus round should pay $3,000 not $1,000. This is a rare hit indeed. -

By the way, previous two trips to Atlantic City I hit two Royals (1

each

trip) on Triple Trouble Bonus Poker (Devil bonus round) at the Taj

Mahal.

I just got back from a thirteen day trip to LAS.A
week ago Wednesday I went to Silverton to pick up some
2600 drawing tickets a host had prepared for me(torn
the stubs off, kept them in numerical order, etc.) was
told she was on the floor someplace so I told the
boothling I would be playing their 9/6 bartop
progressive which was at some $4400 the previous
Monday morning. Walked over there and the progressive
was $4003, someone had hit it recently. Bar not open,
no one playing. Played a few hands while waiting for
the host. She showed up with two bags, one the drawing
tickets, the other the stubs, gave me the option of
dumping the tickets in the drum myself or she would do
it. I told her I trusted her to do it and could I have
a steak house comp? She said she'd be right back.
Whiled away the time by playing, hit the royal for
$4010 before she returned. Was told someone had hit it
an hour earlier!! BTW hit the lone hand fed quarter
$1175 FPDW at the Plaza the day before on my five
times points day and a PROGRESSIVE on my birthday on a
7/5 Bonus with a $1600+ meter at the Nevada Palace the
Sunday before. With the two bonuses of #1000 each that
was good for over $3600. Three royals on three
different games at three stores! Never had a two Royal
trip before. And got to meet Scot Krause and others at
the member meet at the Outback Steak house BEFORE
hitting the royals. Guess that dinner was "lucky" for me:-)
