ROR on progressives

You are right Johnny, I usually avoid those $ 1 bartops due to my

Preston,

I want to stress that the value of the royal has little bearing on session bankroll requirements. If fact, as the RF value goes up, your risk of ruin goes up if you make the correct strategy changes. Playing for 2 hours with a $6000 royal actually takes a bigger bankroll than playing with a $4000 royal.

Nothing wrong with taking a shot with a couple hundred but unless you hit quads or above, the most likely event is to lose that couple hundred dollars. BTW, I think my record at Pick 'Em is 17 non paying hands in a row.
