Room Reservations Online

Sagamore calendar also says the same thing, although I didn't test it out.
I didn't like that it doesn't indicate which days are free - I have been
getting comped days even on weekends, but the calendar used to say "free
Sun-Thur, call for charge on Friday and Saturday".

I noticed on the September Sachem calendar that you can now make room
reservations online through MyMoheganSun.com. I went online to check, and it
does appear that the functionality has been added to the website. I didn't
actually book a room, but went through the process all the way up to the
point where you'd confirm the reservation, and it does appear to be working.

I don't know if this is a Sachem-only function, or if it is available to
other levels as well.

If you do a test run, just putting in any dates, the next screen that comes up
shows three months' calendars and it indicates which days are free. It gives you
a choice of rooms, and the ability to change dates as well. The following
(third) screen is the one that actually makes the reservations.

This is a great new feature. It will be so easy to just make my reservations this way rather than making a phone call. But what I would like on the website is a way to check my point activity.

Being a Wolf, I tried the feature from mymohegansun.com>> Hotel Reservations menu. Unfortunately, I didn't see any FREE rooms listed in the next 3 months. Bummer... My average daily theoretical loss number must be down from playing too many short sessions on the 9/6 JOB machines and management (or the computer) doesn't think I am worthy. I knew there must be a good reason for not going to the Sun so often!!! Just don't tell my girl friend....

It doesn't really matter how it's done. I know we can go to a booth and they can check our point activity but sometimes I want to see it myself, to make sure they don't double charge or something like that.
For example, at restaurants, they don't always ask for ID.

I know exactly what you mean. I make a habit of checking my point balances
multiple times during any trip, especially if I've bought a couple of things, or
they've had to swipe the card more than once. I also charge everything to my
room that I can (restaurants, essentials shops, etc.) so I have a visual record
and I keep a good mental tally of beginning of trip balance + points used for
purchases in stores, gas, etc.

I did have a problem once a couple of years ago with a double charge, and
because it was evident (to me) I was able to get it resolved quickly
(Overnight).

But I agree, I'd like to be able to see the activity on mymohegansun.com, the
same way you can pull up year-to-date win/loss statements as soon as each month
ends.
