Rookie Question

I am going to be in Vegas in a couple of weeks staying at the Paris
and would like to play video poker. Can someone here give me a few
tips on how to maximize my winnings (or minimize my losses) while
still having alot of fun? What machines should I play? Any specific
strip hotels that are better than others? Best site on the internet
for advice and strategy, etc... I would appreciate any help that you
could give this novice to video poker. If you like you can email me
direct @ onedollarbills@yahoo.com

Thanks,

Bo

This is too broad a question to get a lot of responses. First off you have to decide which video poker games you like the best, and then find out where they are (vpfree database will tell you). This is probably the best vp site on the internet, spend some time looking around through all the database, most of your answers are there.
The strip does not have the best video poker in town, and the fanciest places are for the most part the worst for video poker. What games do you play well ?
Are you looking for comps ? How far away from your home base of the Paris are you willing to go ? What denomination do you like to play ? How much of a trip bankroll do you have? Is your room at Paris comped, or do you hope to get it comped ?

Regards
A.P.

Of course, play machines with the best returns and learn proper play
strategies. Check out the VP Database Las Vegas to see the best games
that are offered at Paris and other Vegas casino's . If you have time to
get books and software on these subjects, they are helpful. Bob Dancer
and Jean Scott have materials available that are helpful. You might try
Michael Shackleford's web site on gambling. I understand it is a good
one. His webb site is wizardofodds.com

Gamble only with money that u can afford to lose and remember it is
entertainment. Divide your bankroll out over the number of days you'll
be in Vegas . Have fun ! Good luck.

IMO, you are currently using the best site for vp information. If you are
interested in vp I suggest you utilize the links on the vpFREE homepage.
Since it sounds like you're starting from square one, you may want to start
with the wiz for a succinct explanation of vp and strategy.
