Rookie question re playing 2 machines

Hi, everyone -

Is there a rule of thumb for estimating hands per hour when playing 2
machines instead of one? I realize that it won't be double the rate
for one machine, but that's as far as my intuition gets me. The
machines in question are IGT 5-play machines.

Thanks in advance,

There are too many variables (including skill level, how often W2Gs are
involved, whether the speed on the machines is adjustable, etc.) for a
rule of thumb. But it is not hard to calculate. Record your starting
score, play an hour, see how many dollars you've played, divide by the
cost per hand, and you'll get the number of hands per hour.

Thanks, Bob -

I'll do the calculations on our next trip.

BTW, one of the features I really like in VPW is the option to
select "Advanced" in the level of difficulty options under "Training
Style". It allows me to practice only the more difficult hands when
learning a new strategy; it seems I master the strategy more quickly.

Here's some advice I overheard the meth addict with the backwards cap

tell a newbie regarding playing 2 machines: "throw down some red
bulls, turn on your ipod and shut up and play!" BTW, dont dare post
the whereabouts of the 5-play's in question. Lurking burn-out artists
scan this site evreyday for plays to get spoon-fed to them.
