What a freakin' tragedy, singer's been outed. Not quite as profound
as Valerie Plame, but I'm sure robbie's devastated. As an outsider
let me say that after all this time reading singers posts under so
many aliases, it's nice to see the little man behind the curtain.

It's truly amazing that all you a-holes hide behind your alias. At
least I put my name up for all the see. How many of you can say the same?

Like him or not, why is it important to oust Rob Singer? I for one
could not care less what Bob Dancer's real name is, and why should
anyone care about Singer's.

Dancer is out to sell himself. He doesn't make money playing video
poker but is paid by the hotel to get people to believe there is
enough time to play long term. Nobody lives long enough to hit long term.

The guru of comps is a farce who plays slot machines and under 100%
games most of time yet no one complains about her.

Frankly, the self-righteous that have nothing else to do with their
time but to play video poker and post on this group are the lowest of the low.

And you're ugly too.

Me. For every note I've ever posted on this forum. when you used the
term "a-holes" I assume you were referring to Singer who is the only
one to use several different Ids while not admitting it was him.

I wouldn't go as far as that refutation, Dick. I have to think that
the majority of "advantage" players who do all the right things still
suffer a far from inconsequential loss on the occasional year.

However, the unattainability of the "long term" in vp is a myth when
it comes to the consequences of deviation from ER optimal play.
Invariably, play modifications bias holds in favor of those that
potentially will yield high paying, infrequent hands and away from the
common hands (S, F, FH) that generate the lion's share of game return.

The "long term" on these hands is very short and with strong
confidence the expected sacrifice in ER from strategy deviation will
be realized. Those who cling to the concept that the "long term" is
unattainable will very predictably suffer in play returns over any
moderate extent of active play.

Just to make it clear, my remark was primarily targeted at the use of
the word "nobody". It really gets down to just how large of an
advantage the player is seeking and just how much they play. Clearly,
it is getting more difficult to find enough advantage to guarantee
success every year unless you're willing to play at the .25 level and
at moderate level of play. At this level in LV the comps, CB, BB and
games available make it almost a certainty.
