Riviera Reduces Video Poker Cashback

In order to get the Gold level card at the Riv
you needed 42,000 points in six months. That would now be $84,000 coin in over six months. Not worth it IMO.

Riv entry has been updated to include the change in point accrual.
Bummer. Keep us informed if this affects BB as well as CB.

Colorado Central Station did the same thing recently as well. The Riv
is offering 3x points on video poker Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday
throughout September, presumably as some sort of way to ease the
transition. It's not clear to me how this helps the Riv compete as
they basically only had good cashback and generous food comps to
offer, as they don't have rooms. It looks like Black Hawk is not
immune to the trend of increasingly stingy video poker offerings.
