Riverside resort, laughlin...clunking kickers

In a message dated 10/20/08 I said about the old clunking Sigma Double
Jackpots...

"They have a few Sigma DJ left, but the ones in non-smoking don't pay on
the
kickers."

I got a private e-mail contending that they indeed pay on the kickers. Now
that would be a good thing and the Riverside might get me to play. Currently I
think there isn't anything to play in the non-smoking south casino at the
quarter level.

My recollection is when the mixed Sigma DDJ and DJ bank replaced the Flush
Attacks there by the snack bar that the DDJ had 8/6/4 paytables. The DJ didn't
have the little 3x5 inch glass above the coin acceptor that usually states
the kicker information. They did have the plate when they were located in the
north end. Aces/Faces quads with Aces/Faces kickers pay double making these
fun and a worthwhile 99.6% play. No kickers costs about 1%.

So anyone have a opinion on these clunking DJs?

Well - I was just there, and if it's the 3 slanttops outside of sidewalk cafe area,
is that non-smoking? (I can't recall). I do know the DJs (old machines!) with very low sound - I think the soundchips are dying too, but the GAME is still fun.

I got 4-Js with face kicker and the 'DOUBLE-PAY' was across center of screen.
It paid '400' vs 200 coins. All other quads only pay 100 though,
but I think this is still a great game (less volatile than the DDJ, where 2 pr pays 1-1).

First time I ever got my bonus quad (and 6 pack) on that game.

There aren't too many of those machines scattered about,
but I did find a few also as you make your way past the 'watchman' store towards West casino. Just in mixed bank, next to a bar.
