I usually try to watch the Morning Show with Bruce Clark and Gary
Sheler before I head down to Laughlin. Most of the time it is very
boring, but sometimes they actually have some valuable information.
Don't try to watch this show while staying at Harrahs. For some
reason they block out the only local station on the air. (?)
I have had a few snacks there at Casino West, and the prices are sure
good. However, I would not take a date there if I were trying to
impress her.
I would skip the snack bar, and head over to Casa Serrano. I have had
some wonderful meals there. Locally owned, fresh good food, and
resonable prices.
Watch out chasing that double royal. It is wonderful if you hit it,
but unless you do, you can have the makings for a disaster with those
negative paytables.

So you were watching ole' Bruce Clark? It usually takes several
days to get
20 royals. There were a couple higher denomination Game Kings in
the bartops.
I bet they cap it at $1, to keep out the pros.
I wonder how they do a $1k royal doubled? Is it a W2G event?
They post them on a board at the base of the escalators so you can
keep
track. Anyone ever have a shrimp cocktail or a sandwich in the
snack bar?
