I was watching the online edition of KLBC's The Morning Show
last Friday and they had a rep. from the Riverside. She said the
Riverside was going to run that same promotion about doubling
the first 20 royals. I "think" she also said it was good on VP
machines from 25¢ on up.

So you were watching ole' Bruce Clark? It usually takes several days to get
20 royals. There were a couple higher denomination Game Kings in the bartops.
I bet they cap it at $1, to keep out the pros.

I wonder how they do a $1k royal doubled? Is it a W2G event?

They post them on a board at the base of the escalators so you can keep
track. Anyone ever have a shrimp cocktail or a sandwich in the snack bar?

I usually try to watch the Morning Show with Bruce Clark and Gary
Sheler before I head down to Laughlin. Most of the time it is very
boring, but sometimes they actually have some valuable information.
Don't try to watch this show while staying at Harrahs. For some
reason they block out the only local station on the air. (?)

I have had a few snacks there at Casino West, and the prices are sure
good. However, I would not take a date there if I were trying to
impress her.

I would skip the snack bar, and head over to Casa Serrano. I have had
some wonderful meals there. Locally owned, fresh good food, and
resonable prices.

Watch out chasing that double royal. It is wonderful if you hit it,
but unless you do, you can have the makings for a disaster with those
negative paytables.

That's what I noticed last time I was down there...negative
paytables. The royals will probably all be gone by the 11th (my
arrival) anyway.

I do enjoy watching Bruce Clark (KLBC online) to pick up a little
Laughlin information. Sometimes I'll just catch the first 1/2 hour
of it if their guest speaker doesn't offer much.
