Subject: Re: Now: Best VP in LaughlinOn the subject of Laughlin, has anyone stayed at the Riverside? How are
the
rooms? Have they been updated? We have a chance to fly a charter from Spokane to Laughlin and stay 3
weekend nights for $219 - a pretty good deal. Just a little leery of the
Riverside and their rooms!TIA,
It's been a couple of years since I've been there but I don't think it's any
worse or better than Colorado Belle, Edgewater or Flamingo. Unless you can
stand in a VIP line, check-in was like the Flamingo - a crowded mess.
Remember they had more TV channels than anywhere else on the river, never ate
there, enjoyed the movies, right across the street is the Visitors Center,
best value for river taxi ticket to Harrahs, smoky, smoky, smoky oops didn't
mean to offend if you smoke, they do have a non-smoking casino, flush attack
heaven, somehow a lot of the customers look like the same ones at Cal Neva in
Reno - you know, wheezy, whiny & wino
