Riverside comps

Any one have any experience with food comps at the Riverside?
How much coin in for RFB?
Any experiences, good or bad?

Thanks

I was just playing quarter VP at the Riverside on Oct. 18-21, on a bank of old Sigma coin-droppers......and was not impressed with the lack of food comp accumulation.

5.00 worth, or 4 hands of max-bet VP, adds 1 point to one's card and it takes 1000 points to earn $10.00 in cashback and an unbelievably crappy $5.00 in food comps. 5K thru gave $5.00 in food............not even enough for a buffet.

But the Riverside, being the biggest and the first in line, draws the customers in moreso than the rest of the Laughlin casinos. Maybe they offer some other benefits that I didn't realize, like triple comps for locals.

I earned a bit over 1000 points per day on 3 of those days and maybe 200 points on the last day and had $17.00 in food comps by the end of my trip.
I'll be curious to see an offer of some kind in the mail soon, if one is coming at all.

That same kind of play by me, down the street at the Golden Nugget in April of this year.........on the same kind of Sigma VP machines, earned $10.00 in cashback and $20.00 in food comps per day. They offered me 2 free nights (Sun-Thurs), which I used just a few days ago.
Also, while I played at the Nugget in April, I was able to stay for free just based on my play from that day, after a slot host looked up my info. The rooms are nicer there as well.
A Riverside slot host didn't have the time of day for me after I slammed away at VP for 3 straight days...........couldn't even get a discounted room rate for a night. She was hung up on the fact that I hadn't gambled there since early 2008. Who cares?.....I was giving them plenty of action now and you'd have thought that they would've wanted to further entice me to keep me playing there. I wasn't staying there anyway, but would have had they offered me a good deal.

On the plus side for me at the Riverside......the Sigma VP games were fun, the drink service was great, there are more attractive younger(25ish) women here than elsewhere in Laughlin, and the Riverview Cafe has huge skillet breakfasts which are very good.
