River Palms

Anyone else having trouble
gerring anyone from RP to
answer an email? I get
monthly offers and
requested via their
website that a slot host
get in touch for a future
trip and have heard
nothing. Since Columbia-
Sussex who owns RP and
Trop X looks like they are
going to lose their gaming
license are their
employees abandoning
ship? Thanks for your
input.

Either that or they've been laid off. I believe the machinations of
casino ownership which usually don't affect our properties on the
river too much are going to catch up to Laughlin this time. I feel
sorry for the employees who are probably trying to decide whether to
jump ship or stick it out and see what happens.

Or it could just mean nothing. I think it is a little early to write
off Columbia Sussex in Nevada. I have had trouble getting people to
respond to a request to call me type message. I suspect that unless
you are on the list that you are qualified for a host, they may not
even respond to you. You might try a phone call over the e-mail
route. Or, you could just book a trip the traditional method and stop
in the "player development" department. If the lights are out, and
the place is boarded up, then we really know something is up.
