River Palms ... More Changes

River Palms has made some more changes:

1. They have removed about half of the kiosks. One employee said they
were being taken to Tropicana, but haven't seen any sign of them
there.

2. The long-standing $1.22 Aces Breakfast is history. (Was $2.22
before $1 off for playing 25 points ... valid after 6 AM). There is
still an Aces $2.22 ... but only BEFORE 6 AM ... there is a new "late
night" menu in the cafe that runs only until 6 AM.

3. Starting Jan 4th, there will be a $1.99 Deuces Wild special ...
same as Aces except includes both 2 sausages and 2 bacon strips
instead of choice of one or the other. Sign says "with players card"
with no info as to any restricted hours ... or mention of any
discounts will be available for play.

4. As of right now, there are no signs mentioning any replacement for
the $1.22 Prime Rib w/points earned. None of my mailings mentioned
anything ... has anybody gotten any mailings that list anything?

5. There is no buffet 2 for 1 couple on the kiosks right now. Don't
know if this will be back after holidays or not. Also, heard, but
didn't confirm, that prices are being increased for the buffets.

6. "Coming Soon" sign says new slot club sign ups will receive a T-
shirt ... like at Trop. No mention of any continuation of the present
offer of free play after so many points your first day (if things are
following Trop pattern, than the free play on first day will likely be
history when the T-shirts start).

Thanks for the report Tom. I have been getting a ton of mailings from
the RP, but no monthly coupon format one for January. Another change
that is coming is some type of combining of the slot clubs between
the Tropicana and the River Palms. I was at Lake Tahoe this weekend,
and they are changing over in January where you can use comps at
either MontBleu or the Horizon. I was told that they have the same
plans for Laughlin. I have no other information about the combining
other than what I told. Perhaps the moving of the Kiosks is a first
step?

On another note- I see vpFREE uses the term MIA (missing in action),
so I will report that GRAYTLEEGRAY who posts on this forum often, has
major computer issues that has booted him from the internet. I hope
he gets this resolved.

Our latest RP offers didn't mention the 2for1 but I had noticed the last
few times we were there that the kiosk by the buffet did not have the
offer but when I tried at a different kiosk the 2for1 buffet was there.

Beware, not all kiosk are the same at RP.

BTW, we will be at RP for NYE.
