Risk of ruin before royal - more games

Since we're beating various subjects to death lately I thought I'd
flog this one a bit more. Here are bankroll requirements in betting
units for several games to have a 50% probability of getting a royal
before going broke. For deuces a royal is a natural royal only.

Game Bankroll

···

---------------
FPDW 537
10/7DB 731
JOB 732
10/6DDB 832
9/7DB 1023
PickEm 1560

It's not too surprising that Pick'Em fares worst, since you almost
never get a royal in that game.

Mike

For 10/7DB I get F = 0.9990478075 for a 50/50 bankroll of 728 units.

For 9/7DB I get F = 0.9993209845 for a 50/50 bankroll of 1021 units.

Strategies that give the best shot at a royal would improve on these slightly.

Here's a REAL stupid question
For bankroll
Multiply * 1.25 for .25 ?
and * $5 for dollars?
Right?

That's right. Sorry. Not a stupid question. I wasn't clear enough.
