RIO

I got a card in the mail today saying, "Rio gives locals Triple Reward
Credits for table and slot play." It's long but it seems to offer these triple
reward credits until Labor Day.

The small print says, "must be redeemed in person," so I guess you must
bring the card to the TR booth to activate it.

I just got the card in today's mail. I don't think you have to show

the card, just going to the booth and mentioning it would probably be
okay. It would be really strange for them to insist that you have the
card each time you go there. But then again, maybe Harrah's has
become really strange!?

Here's what the Rio sent/told me:

"The Rio is now offering 3X's Reward Credits for all Locals 7 days a week
now until September 1st. Local Total Rewards members will receive 3X's
their RC's for the slots and table play at the Rio only. Customer's are
required to activate their card everyday at Total Rewards to participate.
Please see Total Rewards for details."

Scot

Most Harrahs properties have a kiosk setup where you swipe for the
multiple points promo but some actually make you redeem the physical
coupon. In the case of actually having to present the coupon, this
means someone is manually scanning the coupon at this time, or at a
later date. If you see the clerk simply file your coupon or drop it
into some sort of drum be sure you keep very close track of your
points as it's quite common for your coupon to get lost which means
you'll have to fight for your points at a later date.
