Rincon downgrades JOB

I was there this morning and all the $5 9/6 had been downgraded to 8/5, plus every machine I checked outside High limit.

Well, I guess that's a good reason never to go there then. I was getting sort of curious about it having never been there but that's just too far to drive for that kind of crap.
I mean, even the $5 machines! That's just rude.

I get several casino industry magazines.
Some of the columnists argue that having FP VP is a leak.
Some argue that making machines too tight means folks
in general spend less time and have less fun, and in the
long run there is a lower handle and lower gross hold
with machines that are 'too' tight.

I know where I won't play VP most of my friends, who
do not even try to play 'perfectly' won't go either.

We'll see, but I'm just guessing that 'full pay' machines
do have a place in this world and can make money
for the casino, while giving players a longer run at
the Royal.

Everyone I know who plays goes with a set money
budget and an open time budget. Does the casino
really come out ahead when someone loses $100
in 15 minutes instead of an hour? I don't think so.

Give the player more action and a fair shot, Binion's
old time 1970s style and they will come. And stay.

OK go ahead and take shots, I have my helmet on.

If you want to let them know how you feel you can post a comment on Harrah's Rincon's facebook page. I just did.

They shut some down and left others up. We played them until Monday morning when they shut those down. They are doing it just to find out how many customers they were really drawing in.

That is a good idea but I doubt Harrah's cares. They have so many properties I don't think they are interested.

I think they do care. Those managers that made this decision are waiting to see what happens. If no one complains, they will think they made a wise decision. However, complaining is really not that important. "The proof is in the pudding" They will be looking to see what happens to the vp volume and more importantly the overall profit. If no one plays those machines....they will get the message about the intelligence of the players.

Did they downgrade the whole row of VP that had JOB, DDB, BP and APDW from .25-$5 against the wall in the VP room?

Does anyone else think it much of a coinidence that this is done just days after the high $5 progressive was pointed out on this forum :o(
