RFBL - what do you keep it under to keep good offers coming?

By RFL do you mean limited room and Food or is that a typo?

RFL is all food except gourmet. At the T.I. it means coffee shop,
buffet (great on weekend dinners) Starbucks, Krispy Kreme (yes, I
have walked out with dozens of those and practically get mauled),
Starbucks (I have a mug collection now) and Canter's Deli (much
better than the Carnegie at the Mirage).

Does TI really allow RFB customers to walk into starbucks and say

give me $150 of coffee beans to go?

NO. Because the tax is around 8%, you shouldn't go over about $137 in
purchases. You have to avoid the $150 "trigger". They were already
out of the chocolate covered cherries and raspberries when I got in.
Making do, I just made a purchase for $98 last Saturday. No problem.

The $150 limit applies to room service too per delivery. If you have
to get that second lobster, have the waiter put it on a separate
check and deliver it 10 minutes later.

BTW, I generally subscribe to the school of taking the comps while
their available, you never know how the comp policy will change

later

on. So, I probably would take the $150 worth of coffee to go, if I

were

comped at that level. I also agree on your "burning" a casino

comment,

the Venetian offers always explicitly state...based on past play
levels...although in my experience they are lenient about this, as

long

as you don't outright burn them.

I "stock up" on trips. I have enough Mirage mini-bar to last for
several cocktail parties - excellent red wine. Love the jelly beans.

Go for it - casinos can take it all away in a flash.
