I was up west of Soaring Eagle looking at property at Canadian
Lakes. Great place to retire to. Lot of great golf courses. Almost an
hour away from the casino in Mt. Pleasant though.
Stopped at the casino on my way back and, yes indeed, all the
GameMaker machines are, as Ernie Harwell would say, "Long Gone!"
The best I could find on the main floor was a row of 9/6/5 Double
Bonus games with progressives on the quads. I hit four 2,s for a $125
and four 3,s for $110 and a Royal Flush for a grand. I gave $300 back
also.
It was rare to see anyone hit a quad while I was playing. (about
five hours) This is a very volatile game. After hitting the first
quad, I counted missing on a dealt three of a kind over 50 times
before I hit the next one. I was beginning to suspect non-randomness.
But I'm sure it was just bad luck.
I also had some luck on a 25 cent slot machine that I profiled as a
possible looser machine because of it's nearness to the entrance.
(guessing here)
I played for about 15 minutes and was down about $25 when I decided
to cash out. The ticket jammed and I had to wait for a $75 hand pay.
While I was waiting, I put in a ten and within a few hands, I hit
three same color sevens for $50, then two same sevens plus a triple
symbol for another$150, all within a few minutes. Not bad.
