Reward Credit Inflation

Harrah's Reward Credits, once valued at 1 cent, now have a value closer
to 1/2 cent.

I went to my local Harrah's for a 7X Reward Credit promotion (7 reward
credits for each tier credit earned). After passing the sign "Cash in
50,000 Reward Credits for $250 cash", I went to the Total Rewards
counter to get an airline ticket. The cost of a round trip ticket has
been increased from 30,000 reward credits to 50,000 and a round trip
made with less than 30 days notice now costs 75,000 credits up from
50,000.

So now we have to play only on the special days they have point
promotions so we can earn enough devalued points to eat and get comps
other casinos give you without a problem.

Dont get too paranoid Bill. They always had Reward Credit's redeemed for cash on a two-for-one. I think they raised the "price" for airline ticket's because the airlines raised them when gas went up last summer.
