Revel visit and historic first

Hi Gang:
Hedy and I visited Revel this past Friday to run through some free play and
stumbled upon one machine that offered 9/6 DDB at the $1, $2 and $5
levels. It was in a bank of four machines near the Wheel of Fortune machines by
the wall in the back towards the right as you enter the casino. The other
three machines in the bank had 9/5 DDB at the $1 level.
Previously, we only found 9/6 DDB at the $2 and up levels. Don't know if
there are other machines like this (we only spent a short time there and
didn't check too many pay tables) but we may return to give them a little play
in the future knowing this machine is available.
Also, during this trip I experienced a first in my career when I got a
redraw royal while playing 10-play BP at Harrah's. It was at the quarter level,
in hearts and was a real shocker because you never expect to get a royal
when you toss all five cards. It was the 310th royal of our careers and only
our second on a redraw. Hedy had gotten one years ago at Caesars Palace
playing five-play 9/6 JOB.

One of my very early royals was on a 5 card redraw on a single line deuces wild game at the old COPA boat in Gulfport. Talk about a royal coming out of nowhere! When the attendant came by, she said "Oh, it dealt it to you", and I told her "No - look again!"

I feel very lucky indeed...several years ago I had my 3rd Royal ever

dealt to me in sequence at a progressive DDB quarter single line. The
next day I got my 4rt Royal at the machine next to it and on a redraw,
also a progressive! Just how lucky I felt....I have only had a dozen
royal to date but then again I'm just a recreational VP player.
Gongrats on your super win!
