Revel-ation

Hi Gang:
We'll be headed to the Revel tomorrow to see first-hand what the fuss is
all about. Expect to see high-limit players and casino execs cursing and
screaming at each other and wrestling on the floor plus armed guards and a moat
protecting the slot club.

Don't be so quick to mock the situation, one that both the news media and the authorities have shamefully ignored for two weeks. People made serious plans, some involving significant sums of money, based on the faulty and deficient details from Revel, and clearly no one has stepped up to clarify anything about this promotion.

Hey, I even got out and worked today, hangover and all. Now I'm in the mood for some dead reckoning, Mickey Crimm style.

Back in June Richard Munchkin stated that the Revel promo had the potential to cost them tens of millions of dollars. Probably through the internet forums Revel suits figured out that the high denom video poker would be the target of highly skilled, big bankrolled AP's everywhere. "Aha!" they said "We'll cut them off at the pass!" Three days before the promo started they removed the $25 video poker. "We've got our asses covered now!" they said. All we have to deal with now is the low rollers, $5 and under, they can't hurt us."

I can see the Revel suits standing there with their jaws dropped open on the first day of the promo. All the high denom slots were getting pounded. The Revel suits got caught with their pants down. They didn't know that the high denom slots would be the backup plan of the bigtime AP's.

"OMG! OMG! What are we gonna do?!!! We're gonna get killed!!!" they screamed at each other. They thought and thought and thought about it. "Well" they said to each other "We're just gonna have to get rid of them. It's the only way to stop the money hemorrhage." The disqualifications commenced.

That's my dead reckoning for the day, folks. Take care

Great post Mickey....looks like that's exactly what happened.
