A few months ago I gave Resorts a few hours of $ play.
I also showed them my Harrah`s diamond card and they
gave me their vip card.
I get room offers for about every night of the week except
Saturday. Combined with a check for $5 or $10. Haven`t been
there in months. I get something from them everyday in the
mail.
Then I'm extremely confused by their marketing & wonder if maybe I should
avoid getting into some sort of "Harrahs" mystery comp situation. We did the same
as you. Switched our Harrahs Diamond card over to Elite and played a few
hours of $ play as well as a stroll thru the slots on the property, including some
time spent in their $5 room. For the past month, we've stopped in for a few
hours each Sat. night and some Sundays. Yes, the $5 and $10 coupons came in the
mail but never a room offer. In fact, I called reservations this past week,
gave them our card # and was quoted a "reduced" rate of $149! Does anyone know
a host I can e-mail to check and see what the problem might be? Is it possible
they are like Majestic whose offers seem to reflect play for 2 months at a
time and backwards? I really want to try and get ahandle on this situation
before we commit our energies to this property.
