As "valued guests" of the LVH Resorts of Atlantic Ciry sent an offer to
me and and offer to my wife. Last year I had 80k in and won about 2k
while my wife had 30k in and lost about 2k. The offers were both for
two free nights plus:
For me : $50 in slot cash and breakfastand 2 show tickets
For Wife: $100 in slot cash, $25 food credit and 2 show tickets
It seems it is not all abound "coin in"!

Some properties do factor in actual player profit (loss - comp/promo
cost) in offers. However there's still a chance that theo is the
driving force here.
This property (perhaps best referred to as "ACH") places strong weight
on DAILY theo. This is total theo divided by every day of recorded
activity.
It's been suggested to me that, potentially, merely checking out of
the hotel might add a day to your theo calc, even if you otherwise
recorded no play. It's almost a certain that the use of a comp (such
as breakfast) on checkout day will add a day. Again, perhaps you
tapped one person's comps but not another on a given day.
If one of you showed activity on a day the other didn't, it would
weaken only one player's theo.
Of course, different games have different theo assigned. I suspect
you're indicating play of the same game by both. However, a stronger
measure of theo is earned cb and not coin-in.
But, you know, casino vagaries are bewildering. It could be anyone's
guess what's at play.

Harrah's has been open in several business publication that an
important element in their marketing models is gender. Near as I
could figure out from what I read, the model was based on total
revenue; that is all money moved between the casino and customer.
It also was a learning model that tracked what offers, or element s
of offers were redeemed to tailor understanding of the customer.
All respect to Lainie who seems to be boiling a little about this
general topic.
