Dropped several hundred in the $.25 progressive jackpot chase at MS
yesterday. Jackpot was at $2069 when I quit and apparently someone hit
shortly thereafter. Won some back playing Bonus Deluxe on the $.01 100
plays and playing $.25 DBDW Multi-Strike. Slightly negative for the
day, but definitely not skinned alive.
Stopped by at Resorts afterwards to check out the $1 DDB progressive.
Not a single person was playing. Jackpot was $4900, but quad values
were far below full pay levels. I guess everyone's an educated vp
consumer these days! 
For those also interested in live poker the poker room at Resorts was
disappointing. Very crowded and somewhat smokey, a big drop in
environmental quality from Trumps. They have no tournaments until July
and had no flyer to give me which listed them. Everything seemed to be
limit HoldEm, they do not offer NL sit&go tournaments. Like Trumps
Omaha HiLo only seems to take place on Saturdays. Unlike Trumps the
limit HoldEm does not appear to be "kill", so at least Resorts gets
high marks in this. Looks like live poker in Chicago area casinos
rivals most vp offerings in quality.
