Resorts cb

I just got another Resorts mailing for weekly cash back. I got $5 plus
500 pts for a little play approx. 200 pts. ($1600), so this is not
bad, .3 cb .3 comp, if these results ramp up for greater play. If this
is on top of monthly mailings Resorts may turn out to have a decent
comp system. They just need to expand their 99+% inventory. Also got a
mailing for next weekend drawings, with an undisclosed guarantee win
amount, part of $80,000 total.

We stopped in Saturday night after the tournament and ran about 4K through.
We haven't been there in a while. It will be intersting to see what the
mailers will be. I had hoped the place would be lacking business to inspire
a little competition on Resorts part, but the place was pretty busy, and the
silly Elvis contest I thought would be a dud was actually quite successful.
If you were Diamond at Harrah's and didn't receive an offer for the premium
Resorts card be sure to ask for one at the slot desk. We were given one
without a fuss.

Would be nice if they had something playable other than single line quarter.
Incidentally, 9/7 DB and 8/5 BP is now pretty plentiful downstairs in single
line quarters, if you're willing to settle for 99%.

Please post what you get for 4k, it would be nice to figure out their
system. I heard they are in the process of a massive mailing to all
Harrah's members. The single line .25 also have NSUD and a strong
version of triple bonus. It would be nice if Resorts would expand the
video poker with more playable machines. I would think that every new
casino would atleast initially flood the casino with good video
poker, even if people don't know the difference in pay schedules, as
a group people would have a better first experience with the property.

Unfortunately, you most likely cant use a $5 coupon to really
calculate BB %, I know harrahs pretty much sends out $5 BB weekly to
anyone with any activity, but harrahs is very hard to figure out, I
have been tracking my wife's and my points this year and our BB doesnt
seem to correspond with the CI at all, maybe as I gather more data
some trend will appear?

True $5 cb doesn't give a whole lot of information, but this is a new
casino, so I figure any information is better than none. I know
harrah's weighs heavily w/l on their weekly bb, I think their monthly
is based more on coin-in, although w/l probably plays a role there
also. Not that .3% is particularly high, but even on weeks with bad
losses, Harrah's still gave lousy cb, just slightly better than there
really really lousy cb. Since Resort's hotel rooms are a little nicer
than Harrah's, Harrah's is no longer on the play list in Chicago,
sounds like the same for Vegas with the recent downgrades in there
already weak vp inventory.

My wife and I received our first ever mailing from the LV Hilton - each recieived "Enjoy on night at $50 and get your second night free" Note on offer was from Resorts East Chicago and LVH.

I just got the same offer. I thought it was a generous offer based on
Resort's limited data of our play. Note offer did not contain any
restrictions as far as blackout dates or weekday/weekend plus its
good for up to 4 nights and you can use the offer more than once July
1 - Aug. 31.

Whatever happened to those Majestic Star cross marketing Las Vegas
offers?

I'll post what our bounce is. I was playing the NSUD. I wasn't sure about
the TB, but copied the paytable for later examination. It seems to play
similarly to games like super aces or DDB. If modest play would garner
hotel offers, it would be nice.

We received the same Resorts offer. Actually I just used one of the MS
cross marketing offers. They offered comp nights at the Fitz in DT LV. We
wanted to stay downtown a couple of nights and since no offers from the
Nugget were in the file, we took them up on it. The Club 21 room we had was
better than much of the DT competition. Complimentary bottled water and
morning paper. Nothing fancy, but it doesn't have to be to beat out the
rooms at MSS and LV Club. VP was substandard for downtown, but I wiled away
a little time on a BP prog that was over 100%.

In Tunica, the Resorts (old Harrahs) is really slow, they started 3x
cash back (same day) on May 13th, I was there last week and I was
surprised how slow it was. Maybe they just dont get much of a crowd
during the weekdays? The best games were $1 JOB 9/6 w/progrsv and
about a .7% meter. I played that quite a bit (NO RF) and the only
other playable games were $1 3play 8/5 bonus and $2 ACES Bonus 8/5.
You have to be very carefull, as I found some machines with 0 rate
cash, and others at 0.3% cash, and the best ones (incl. the prg. at
the bar) at 1.125% cash. All those are the already 3xd amounts, and
all the aformentioned games had the full cashback amount. They
extended this promo thru june 13th, so it may be a good chance for a
getaway.

Have fun

Dropped by again for a short time last week again. This time during the
day. It seemed very slow compared to the way I remember seeing the property
most times as Harrah's. I noticed numerous inventory additions that should
make some folks happy. I'll be curious to see the monthly bounce when/if it
arrives in the mail.

As reported here, the 5X was no fluke. Received 5X again yesterday. It
just truly astounds me that they would not publicize their own promotion. A
definite WTF moment in casino management.

Mulligan Monday is kind of a bust. EV is roughly $5, so no special reason
to drag your butt out there. You receive a coupon good for a $5 bet to be
placed when you lose a bet. I was hoping for a higher max for the coupon.
Maybe other players get higher values?

The free play promotion on Wednesday is strong, if you don't mind waiting in
line for 10 minutes to get your play activated. Definitely worth a trip IMO
if you are coupling this promo with a BB or FP coupon.

Chandler

I heard the Mulligan ranged from $5-$25, and was randomly assigned.
