Hi! What is the one people are scrambling Over? Very interested. I just got back from AC and had heard Showboat. Broke my neck to get there, but didn't see anything outstanding. Thanks, JT

Showboat had extensive renovations in the past six months are so. The
chandeliers in the corridors, whole new mini areas of play, a little
bar, all carved out of what used to be just an expanse of casino space.
Unless you saw it last year, you won't appreciate the difference.
A little bit of this seems to be going on with Harrah's at AC too.

I just got back myself and did stop at Showboat, no big deal there for me. Also went to the Hiton for a while, I like to eat at a little restaurant on the boardwlk near there.

For us, the allure of the Showboat is the combination of a great buffet, great rooms, great
location, great drinks and tables in the House of Blues casino, and, of course, the great VP
paytables which beat basically every other AC casino!
While I go to Showboat occasionaly, I have only been a casual VP
player; never seriously bothered about the paytables that much.
Which are the games with better paytables there? Would you give a
rundown with their approximate location?

The good stuff is all in the House of Blues section near the boardwalk. They have 9/6 jacks or better from 25 cent's to $5 and 9/7 Aces and faces double bonus
