Resort fees and Station Casinos

I'm not sure exactly when this will go into effect, but got this
directly from VIP Services that Red Rock will charge guests a daily
"resort fee" to their hotel bill if using a mailed offer. If your
stay is set up by a host, then there will be no charge.

Currently the standard resort fee for Red Rock is around $27 or $28 a
day. If you come in on a mailed offer, the resort fee charged will
run around $12, I was told.

Internet service is now included in the resort fee where previously
you were billed separately for this; we were never able to get that
comped at the end of our previous stays.

As for the other Stations and their resort fees, those may change as
well, so be sure to check so there's no surprises. Please post and
updates.

Guests using offers are not gonna like this one bit!

I stayed at Red Rock on a mailed offer a few weeks ago.
I asked ahead of time about the resort fee and was told it is added to each room charge, but since the room was comped, so was the resort fee.
(I always asked first, so there are no surprises at the end.

It was a very nice offer 2 nights, $100 dining credit, $250 freeplay.
It could be used at GVR or Red Rock.
Was not disciplined enough in my choice of VP playsat all.
Hit 4 2's on a $1 Deuces wild, but got stubborn with .25 DWMS STP
and could not hit ANYTHING on the top two lines, despite getting that darn 4x and 5x multiplier on the top two lines on a regular basis.

Not happy about the surprise and will let them know when I get there

I used two offer during the Christmas holidays, one at Fiesta in which I was charged a resort fee and the other at Green Valley Ranch in which the $25 resort fee was waived. Go figure?

Mariettatom,

For years, that same 'resort fee' note has been on every
reservation confirmation email that Red Rock has sent to me.

However, I have NEVER paid the fee, since my room has
always been comped.

So, if your room is comped, they probably won't charge you
the 'resort fee' - regardless of what is printed in the email.

You should call them now, to confirm.

$27 or $28 a day as a fee? This is more than rooms in some places! Take your business elsewhere if they don't agree to comp all of it!
