Resort Fee at Boyd's Downtown Properties

I haven’t been to Vegas since last December’s stay at The Cal for a v.p. tournament. My room was comped, but I simply can’t remember whether or not the resort fee was assessed on those comped night. Can anyone tell me if “comped” nights are charged the resort fee? Thanks in advance.

I stayed @ the Cal with comped rooms & have never paid a resort fee!

I’ve never been charged a resort fee on a comped room at MSS.

Regards

A.P.

Thanks, A.P. I had actually arrived a day early and, when checking out, had that first night fully comped as well based on the play I’d given. I didn’t have anything go on my card when I checked out (don’t think I even got any kind of receipt), so was never really sure if the fee had been “assessed” and then “waived”, or if it was simply never charged at all… I’m inclined to think it’s the latter situation. Thanks again.

Sad to say, December is so last year, as far as Boyd’s is concerned (pun intended).

Just got back from Gold Coast. Stayed two extra nights due to aircraft issues. Charged 150$ for Thursday and Friday PLUS resort fees. (Currently have Emerald card, which is allegedly exempt from such fees).

Point is, with BConnected 2.0, as the company calls it, everything’s up in the air. My comped rooms booked before the change had no resort fee, but who knows now. Front line staff hasn’t been informed of all the changes…don’t know that they’re paid, but they need a raise, dealing with cranky customers and a company that is very puzzling.

Good luck.
