I don't feel that sane players need to worry about casinos changing
the payouts at the drop of a hat. However, what I do see on the
horozon from "downloadable" slot machines is:
1. Ability to change denominations depending on casino crowds. For
example, when the casino is empty, there may be many 5c machines,
but when the casino is crowded, those machines are $1 minimum bets.
A similar arrangement occurs for table games.
2. Game variety (paytables) for VP machines could be "customized"
for certain players. One day, casinos will REQUIRE a slot club card
as a debit card for slot machines. If a knowledgeable player wants
to play, all that they will have will be 6/5 JOB machines. If an
unskilled player wants to play, then 10/7 DB will be available.
