Yes, they reduced the 10/7 above the .25 level, but they still have a lot of
.25 FPDW.....what they did to them was really brutal, slow them down to a
creep.....zzzzzzzz....especially the lovely slant tops DWs near slot club.
Such a shock and soooo slow. They went so far to slow them down, they even
removed the speed up computer icon option. Many upright FPDWs have been
slowed down also. Whatever the Orleans could do to cause Advantage players
lots of Disadvantage, was done, e.g.:Lower pay tables, reduce speed, who
cares if it is 2 x points, you will be earning them like it was less than
single points at that rate.
What they don't seem to know, is people won't play there under these
conditions so their business will also slow down. Locals and advantage alike.
They will walk away as an Orleans cocktail waitress told me yesterday. She
personally observed several folks leave in disgust, so there, Orleans, your
bottom line will be hurt and you did it to yourself. Hope the bullet wound in
your foot heals quickly. The Palms will be busier than ever (even without
cash back) and if the Gold Coast doesn't follow in the Orleans wake, their
business will also pick up.
Good News Shirl Personal Dept: Got my seventh set of deuces in ten days at
Palms today, Yes!! Right after Jean and Brad dropped by and said "Hi". Also
got a discretionary comp for buffet from Mickey Petkus. Am saving my points
for N9ne or Alize. The view from Alize is to die for,a strip panorama view.
P. P.S. Orleans still has 10/7 DB triple plays in nickels with progressives
jackpots, very crowded, but best yet, you can speed them up yourself without
calling a slot tech. Hooray!!!
