Brian, your test was excellent. I only put << >> at the beginning and the end of the whole quoted part. Therefore << alerts me that this is quoted material until I get to the >>.

I was pleased to meet Jean Scott and her husband
Brad at a LVA member's meeting my last trip to Vegas.
I admire your discipline, Jean, I know being a
professional author is tough, I could not do it. I am
not an expert on Internet etiquette, when I reply to a
post I delete most of it, leaving just a bit so
everyone will know what I am responding to. Is that
wrong, guys or is that close enough?
