Rental Car

I am going to be in Vegas the first week of April and we will need to
rent a car. What is the bets (i.e. cheapest) way to rent a car?

1.) check the bids priceline will accept at biddingfortravel.com. Find what
the competition will charge at orbitz.com for the size you want.
2.) Priceline is generally the cheapest.
3.) Don't forget the price, anywhere, doesn't include the modest 50ish%
taxes you're nailed for.

fyi we regularly get $12 a day autos, plus 50% tax.

Priceline will charge you a once-per-reservation-accepted charge of $5.95.

Check out Hotwire @ http://www.hotwire.com

I'm going to Laughlin in April so I started pricing a car rental. Most places wanted around
$181 or more (including tax) for a compact car for one week. I was able to get it through
Hotwire for $142 including tax. Even so I booked too early with Hotwire because this past
weekend I saw the price for the same car go down to $124 at Hotwire and, unfortunately
with them, all sales are final.
