I just returned abut an hour ago, and even though no one could go with me due to very short notice, I did get a couple of private e-mails from several members who will accompany me in the future I hope. Thanks for the comment.
Why not post how I did playing? At the Eldorado I decided to pump the $750 through a triple play $5 ddb 9/5 machine since it was free, and lo and behold with $100 remaining I was dealt four of those aces without a kicker. The draw produced no kickers either, but it was a $12000 hit. Now I was in one of those do I stay dilemmas. Of course I did because I just got there and I had free food for 4 days. I did not play there at all any more during my stay, but instead went to Peppermill to give their single play $5 10-7 db progressive a shot. Big mistake though. Not one f-o-a-k the rest of my visit, and I came home with a $20 profit overall, after gas, tips, fees, etc. But I had a fun time.
I was a little behind in my reading so sorry if this was beat to death already as a topic, but this was a very cool thing to do.
Sorry for the last minute notification, but I just received an
unusually great offer from Eldorado (4 nights, RFB, and $750 in free
play), so I'm going this afternoon. I'm taking my plane out of Falcon
Field in Mesa, and if anyone living in the Phoenix vicinity would like
a comp flight up to the Reno/Lake Tahoe area let me know ASAP. I plan
on leaving the house around 12:30.
