Harrah's charter was "free." Room not to our Mohegan Sun "standards."
Casino needs renovations. I'm not sure if Harrah's has confidence in

I took advantage of this junket over last Labor Day weekend - hate the fact
that there's no direct flight from Providence and we had to make connections
at Midway, adding another two hours to a long and boring flight. Rooms
definitely are not Mohegan Sun quality and neither is Harrah's casino, although
Peppermill is much nicer. When we checked into Harrah's there was no safe in
our room; I called the desk and asked for a room with a safe and they moved us
to a suite - much, much nicer. I played through something like 40 or 45k
for the weekend, certainly not that much by Vegas standards but apparently
pretty good for Reno because I received a letter from a host asking me to call
him for the next trip, plus he also called and wished me happy birthday a month
ago! If I head back that way, I would take advantage of one of the Tahoe
trips instead, the area is so attractive. Next Harrah's trip is 5/2 - 5/5 out
of Boston to New Orleans as a result of emails and snail mail from the
regional Harrah's rep. I'm off to the Sun for Friday night for the Celtic Women
show.
