I'm not sure if this will help but the Grand Sierra has a history of
comping ahead of time based on another casino's action, i.e. I known
for a fact they did it for Thunder Valley customers as part of a promo,
and it included free room and sizeable free play based on the level of
the player's card.
Also, you do end up paying for the room whether you like to believe it
or not. In the business world, they call this behavior mental
accounting.
