Can anyone confirm/deny the existence of 10/7 DB and pickem at either
property? There are 2 different reports on the internet. I am going there
for the first time in 2 weeks and would like to polish up on the appropriate

As of April 4th:
Harrahs Reno: 2 $1 PEs, and 4 25C PEs, they are at the Center Steet
part of the casino. The card readers on these machines tend to fail
intermittently, even during tracking, when working, they should give
the count-down and the session rc's (at $10 per rc). The bonus rc's
vary, depending on time of the day, day of the week, your session
win/loss, and time on machine. A long session gets significantly
more brc's than two short sessions of same total time. The $ DB
machines were downgraded to 9/7 recently. If you really want to play
DB, walk next door to the Cal Neva where you'll find DB from 5c to
$5, including 5c-10c-25c 3-play/5-play/10-play (get the bonus quad
coupon from the slot club booth first).
Harrahs Lake Tahoe: No PE or DB. If you see a Sigma 25c DB game
there, check to make sure straights pay 5 to 1 and not 4 to 1.
However you can walk through the tunnel and play at
Harveys Lake Tahoe: Also owned by Harrahs, and your Total Rewards
card works the same as at Harrahs. No DB here, but there is a lone
$5 PE machine at the high limit area, no $1 PE, 5c and 25c PEs are
next to the interior (Mountain Tower elevators). Best game here is
Deuces Deluxe (some labelled as Deuces Wild Bonus) with 4700-coin
royal (100.65%) in 25c and $1 denominations (can use Aiport aka
Illinois Deuces strategy as basic strategy for this game), also in
the same area. 25c NSU inside the Hard Rock Cafe, great Pork Shank
there, but charges at the Hard Rock cannot be settled with your
brc's. Avoid the crowded, over-priced, and over-rated Pacifica
buffet.
