Just returned from an abreviated Memorial Day Reno-fest. Inventory
updates (mostly negative) follow:
1. J.A. Nugget (Sparks): The .25 cent triple play machines (3 of
them) containing NUSD have been removed. On the plus side they have
added 2 MultiStrike machines with FPJB and 8/5 BP among others.
Also, at Gabes Pub in the sports book basement, they have a 99.45%
(at least in quarters) version of Bonus Dueces in the Gamblers
Choice leased machines at the bar. This game is available in
single, triple of five play.
2. Silver Club (Sparks): It appears the lone remaining .05 cent 10
play with 10/7 DB has been shorted. No reason to play there anymore.
3. Western Village (Sparks): All the spin poker and multi play
games I inspected have had the 10/7 DB shorted to 9/7.
4. Eldorado: I used to like to eat lunch and play the .25 cent 9/6
DDB progressive machines and drink excellent comped beer at the
Blues Brothers Brew Pub on the second floor. Sadly, all of these
machines have been taken out and replaced by Game Kings with
extremely bad paytables. No reason to eat/drink there anymore.
Despite these mostly negative developments, I had a very profitable
and enjoyable, but short, trip.
